In order for the Astronauts who live in the International Space Station to eat while their hanging out in space, Food Scientists have been busy conjuring up a nice selection of Freeze Dried Food since the beginning of the Mercury Missions! Freeze drying removes 98% of the original water content which gives the ice cream a three-year shelf life. Like most of us who lack the IQ, physical strength, and endurance that our Astronauts are blessed with, we will never make our way to the International Space Station. Does that mean that we can't enjoy the same foods that they do though? Heck No!
