What is the Delivery By Christmas Guarantee?

Our guarantee begins in our warehouse, our super geeky elf sorting system gives each order a "drop dead" time that your specific package needs to be handed over to the carrier.  We make sure that your order leaves our warehouse in Richmond Virginia on the date required to be delivered to your shipping address based, on the data provided to the customer in real time by the carrier, at the time you placed your order.

TRACKING NUMBER: As soon as the shipping carrier pulls away from our warehouse, we will send you an email with your tracking number.  Please allow up to 48 hours for the carrier to update the tracking information online. You can also lookup your tracking number.

Once your order has been loaded onto the carrier's truck it "should" be scanned by the driver as "received."  Historically we know that as the carriers try to handle the enormous increase in packages... they will sometimes skip the scan showing they have received the package into their care.  When this happens a package can go a few days without showing movement until it is scanned at your carrier's local distribution center.. or worse... scanned for the first time when delivered.  So frustrating!  We completely understand, which is why we pinky promise you that we are getting your order picked up from our warehouse on the date required.

Our Delivery By Christmas Guarantee steps in by guaranteeing that your order will be delivered on or by December 25th 2020, if you selected a Christmas delivery date during checkout and your order is not received by December 25th.  If this occurs, and it is not due to bad weather or an incorrectly provided shipping address, just contact us and let us know if you would like either 20% off your late order or a pre-paid return label to return your full order.  

 

Christmas Delivery Guarantee Options

If your order is not received by the delivery date stated on your order confirmation email (this is the delivery date you selected during checkout) please select the best option for you. 

 Return your unopened order:

  • (Option 1) Refuse Delivery. When you refuse a delivery you will be able to use the original tracking number to track its return journey back to us.

  • (Option 2) Contact customer-service@perpetualkid.com after 12/25 and request a pre-paid return label to send back your full unopened order. For the fastest processing, please reply to your order or shipping confirmation email to make this request. 
As soon as your order is received back at our warehouse it will be processed as a return.  You will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days.

  • (Instructions) Contact customer-service@perpetualkid.com after 12/25 and request your 20% discount for your Christmas Delivery Guarantee. For the fastest processing, please reply to your order or shipping confirmation email to make this request.

During checkout (or from the order summary on your view cart page) you will be shown available delivery dates and shipping options.  Our website communicates in real time with the USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping systems.  With the information we receive back in real time with the shippers, you are presented with shipping options and delivery dates based entirely on the shipping zip code you provided.  The delivery dates presented are specific to the specific zip code you have entered and the real time data given to us by the carriers. No areas are still able to receive deliveries by Christmas for new orders.

When you go though checkout on Perpetual Kid, our website communicates in real time with the USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping systems.  With the information we receive back in real time with the shippers, you are presented with shipping options and delivery dates based entirely on the shipping zip code you provided.  The delivery dates presented are specific to the specific zip code you have entered and the real time data given to us by the carriers. Not all delivery areas are able to receive orders by Christmas.

HOW ACCURATE ARE THE DELIVERY DATES PROVIDED?

Even with some rare (but occasionally long delays once the package hits the customer's local distribution center... Hello Ohio!) we are hearing from our customers in specific areas, we are still seeing less than 5% of our customers orders are not being received by the delivery date selected during checkout.

Free Shipping on qualified orders over $49 after any coupons have been applied and shipping within the contiguous United States. You will see the free shipping promotion during checkout when you are asked to select your shipping method. Your shipping address must be deliverable by the USPS. Orders outside of the contiguous United States do not qualify for this offer. Transit time is our Standard Shipping + 1 business day. Not all delivery areas are still able to receive deliveries by Christmas.

Track packages and get alerts with the FedEx® Mobile app or your computer. Give specific instructions for incoming deliveries to your driver. Have a package put on the side of the house, tell them not to ring your doorbell or make another needed request. All deliveries to the given address will follow these instructions. Keep deliveries safe by picking up packages from thousands of convenient locations. Request to redirect your package to a nearby location with later hours and then pick it up on your time.
