A great project for the budding chemist or to spark an interest in crystals in anyone! This kit contains special rocks and instructions for you to create your very own Crystal Garden!
- Just put all rocks into one small dish, if you want them the same color. Otherwise, use a separate dish for reach color. Our distilled white vinegar (not included) over the rocks. Then place in a warm spot where it will not be disturbed.
- Your crystals will begin to grow within 2 days, but can take up to 2 weeks. Growth will continue until all the vinegar has evaporated.
- Once you have a good crop of crystals, but before all of the vinegar has evaporated, add a drop of food coloring to the vinegar... This will gradually seep into the crystals. With a selection of coloring you will soon have your own colorful crystal garden!
